Chlorella, an incredible, multi-faceted superfood, is a microscopic single-celled plant that grows in fresh water and boasts an array of nutrients, including vitamin A and iron. Composed of 66% protein, this potent superfood is a great way to introduce detoxifying, alkalizing foods into your diet, and its abundance of chlorophyll gives it a deep, emerald-green color.
Each chlorella tablet contains approximately 250mg of this nutrient-dense compound. Packaged in a Net Wt 4 oz container, the product contains around 450 tablets. Our chlorella tablets are processed from pure chlorella powder, which is gently dried after harvest and then subjected to a unique, chemical-free centrifuge process to break the cell walls. The resulting chlorella powder is then stamped into tablets without the use of binders, fillers, or additives.
We source our chlorella from the cleanest sources in the world, typically South Korea or Taiwan. All of our chlorella is grown indoors in a controlled environment to avoid any possible atmospheric contamination that may occur with outdoor-grown chlorella. Each batch is tested in third-party laboratories to ensure purity. Although the USDA does not currently provide organic certification for indoor-grown chlorella, our chlorella is grown and processed to organic standards.
